1. Refund Eligibility
Refunds may be issued for:
- No-show professionals
- Services paid for but not started
- Work significantly different from what was agreed
- Duplicate charges
- Verified billing errors
2. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds are not available when:
- The service was completed satisfactorily
- The client changes their mind mid-project
- Issues arise unrelated to the professional’s work
- The client approves and releases payment, then disputes later
3. Refund Request Process
To request a refund:
- Submit a claim within 72 hours
- Include photos, documentation, or communication logs
- Allow FixitHire to review the case
- Outcomes may include:
- Full refund
- Partial refund
- Denial (with explanation)
4. Payments Already Released
Once payment is released to the professional, refunds may be limited unless a valid dispute is filed promptly.
